Service Update 2

The location, rain or shine, has been set. We will be going to the James River Park. If the weather is nice to us, we'll be painting a bridge and handicap access ramp to the "Pump House." The JRP staff had planned on finishing the building work this year and painting next year because of budget constraints. But we've offered to paint it all this year.

The catch is that they don't have enough paint for the job. They estimate it will take 16 gallons to finish the job. They can scrape together six cans. So we'll have to take up the slack. John Connover is working with them and their paint supplier to see if we can get a discount. Lee Peters, who can't make it up, is tossing in $50 to go towards this end so anything else that can be offered up would be most appreciated.

If the weather is not on our side, we will be working in doors. Those details are currently being worked out.
