Hotel check in is tomorrow night; the Friday night restaurant (The
Capital Ale House, at 4024-A Cox Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060 Phone:
804-780-ALES) is .3 miles away and the front desk staff know how to
get there. Paranoid types that want a map can click here:

I'm guessing we're headed out about 7:00pm or so, so we'll meet in the
hotel lobby then.
Service project is Saturday morning. Meet in the hotel lobby at
8:15am, departure at 8:30, arrive at the project at 9:00am. John is
leaving maps at the front desk if you get left behind/oversleep, etc.
Project location is the James River Park, and bring raggedy clothes
(you know, like old APO shirts that don't fit anymore and have holes
in them) and shoes - we're gonna be painting.
I was asked this morning if we're singing the toast song, and my gut
response was "no, this isn't an APO event and half these people, like
spouses and kids, don't have a clue," which is what I told the asker,
who has forgotten the words. Then I read Kathy's email again, and I
thought, "oh, of course we are. How foolish of me." So, for those of
us like me who don't remember the words after 10 years, you can find
them here:

Don't ask me why they're on a United Kingdom website, I don't know.
For the tune, remember that the women sing it to the tune of "If
Everyone Cared" by Nickleback; the men sing it to the tune of "If I
Had a Million Dollars" (Barenaked Ladies); and John Conover sings it
to the tune of "Heaven" by I, Monster.
Dinner, Saturday evening, meet at 6:15pm, depart at 6:30pm
NY Grill (Old name: Vinny's Italian Grill)
1070 Virginia Center Pkwy
Suite 123, Virginia Center Station
Glen Allen, VA 23059
It's about 10 miles away, directions will be at the front desk and a
map can be found here:

Last set of numbers had 48 total people, with some sort of "in and
out," mostly local folks who won't be there the whole time.
I look forward to seeing all of you!
